    28 th June-Affairs L 98-59b : Ø NASA’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) has discovered a new planet named L 98-59b. Ø Size:  L 98-59b is around 80% Earth’s size. It is between the sizes of Mars and Earth. It is the tiniest of Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) finds so far.  Ø Location:  It orbits a bright, cool, nearby star named L 98-59.             26 th June- Current Affairs Proton Therapy : Ø Proton therapy is a type of Radiation therapy which is also called proton beam therapy. Ø It uses protons rather than x-rays to treat cancer.  At high energy, protons can destroy cancer cells.         25 th June – Current Affairs Lunar Evacuation System Assembly (LESA) :     LESA is a pyramid-like structure whose purpose is to rescue an astronaut should he or she suffer an injury on the lunar surface.      Developed by:  The European Space Agency (ESA).      Functioning:  LESA can be operated by a single astronaut to rescue a fallen colleague.   24 th June – Current Affairs Inner Line Permit (ILP) : Ø A petition filed before the Supreme Court has sought a direction to the Centre and the Nagaland government to take steps for the protection of non-Nagas living in Dimapur following the imposition of the Inner Line Permit (ILP). Ø Inner Line Permit (ILP) is an official travel document issued by the Government of India to allow inward travel of an Indian citizen into a protected/restricted area for a limited period.
