Hydroponics and Soil less Farming Soiless farming is the technique of cultivating plants by eliminating traditional soil media and using other substrates (like coco peat, gravel, etc.,) instead. This can be performed under controlled environment and can be established anywhere independent of land availability and soil fertility. Hydroponics is a technique of growing plants in nutrient solution with or without use of any artificial medium. The roots of the plants are kept immersed in the nutrient solution so that the plants receives all micro and macro nutrients though the nutrient solution.
